Hahaha. I laugh in the face of Adversity! (And apparently blink EVERY freakin' time the flash goes off.)

non-blinky photo, but hair in the face. I am in the desert bay-bee.
Pattern: Cable Eight, Interweave Knits Spring 05
Needles: Size 11 vintage Boye interchangeables c. 1968
Yarn: Pakucho in chocolate
size:38
modifications: v-neck, no crochet edging, no cap sleeves.
Knowing that a lot of bulky yarn would make me look like a line-backer, I decided to make some changes. No crochet cap sleeves, and slap a v-neck in there! (Hence the trouble with the math last week.) Here is a detail of the v-neck, nicely using the cable to reinforce the neckline:
And here is a picture of P. making fun of me because I blink EVERY time the flash goes off when he tries to take a picture of me. Yeah, I am feeling more and more comfortable not hiring a professional photographer for our wedding...what a waste of money THAT would be.
ciao, bellas!
hurrah!!!!! it looks marvelous!!!!!!!
COOL! Do you LOVE it? It looks great in the photo, and I really like how
you integrated that cable into the v-neck. Good job!
Wow! Congrats on resolving all issues and getting it done so quickly - it
is bee-yoo-ti-full!
I am soooo impressed! It looks ab fab, AND you figured out all the problems
you were having! Yay for you!
Your Cable Eight is the best I have seen so far! I love the pattern of the
cables, but as written it would not be attractive on me or my boobs. Are
you going to make your alterations available? I hope, I hope!!!
YAY! great work, and congratulations on resolving the math stuff! ^_~
Looks fantastic. I like the modifications!!
You did it! It was worth every rip-out. And with that skirt it just SO
classy. It's pretty, bulky, cool and classy. And a fast knit. How great is
all that?
