Small accomplishments

Most of the boxes are unpacked, but we are still very obviously just-moved-in.  Piles of newspaper await their doom in our fireplaces, boxes have been flattened for recycling, and bubblewrap is being sorted through for future use.  So there

I know what I will be doing for the rest of the year. The house is wonderful!  P set up the wireless network immediately, so I now can blog when I want to procrastinate from unpacking/unwrapping/finding spots for our things.  So yay! P

The closing on the little yellow house is tomorrow, and I am starting to find it hard to sleep at night from excitement.  The big move from the apartment to our new home is scheduled on Monday because both P and I are working this weekend.

The weather has turned cold and overcast in Michigan - I am told by natives that I may not see the sun again until April.  Golf isn't so much fun when you can't feel your fingers or toes, so P and I didn't hit the links this weekend.
